On 23rd March 2020, legislative changes significantly altered which parties are responsible and therefore liable for rental property compliance in NSW. These changes have put greater responsibility on landlords and agents of NSW rental properties, including strata title properties.

Penalties of up to $2,200 now being enforced for failure to adhere to legislation.
